Sustainable finance
Vinga Group strives to conduct a long-term sustainable business. We believe that companies operated in a sustainable way are ideally positioned to stay competitive over the long term. We also know that climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time, and that overcoming this challenge requires systematic collaboration and teamwork.
Making a difference
Our ambition is to provide Nordic growth companies with access to sustainable financing. We’re seeing a growing interest in ESG matters from our corporate and institutional clients, who are increasingly seeking our advice on how to address them. Knowing that our services can make a meaningful difference, we want to promote and elevate clients who, like us, aim to do the right thing as a responsible business.
Responsible investments
To date, we have raised close to SEK 2 billion in green bonds for Nordic issuers. Green bonds are a fixed-income financing instrument where the proceeds are earmarked for climate-related or environmental projects. Green bonds have become popular for investors to align their financial goals with their values and contribute positively towards the transition to a sustainable low carbon economy. They connect investors who want to invest in green purposes with businesses who need funding of green business initiatives or green assets.
Green bonds can be verified and issued within a large and growing number of industries, including:
Low carbon buildings
Low carbon transport
Sustainable forestry and agriculture
Solar, wind and other renewables
Partner to the Climate Bonds lnitiative (CBI)
Vinga is a partner to the Climate Bonds lnitiative, an organization promoting sustainable investments and conducting green bond certification. Through joining the Climate Bonds lnitiative, we can provide small and mid-sized issuers with better access to the green bond market while providing investors with sustainable high yield opportunities.
Building on years of experience from green bond transactions, we are well equipped to guide the issuer through every step in the process.
