As our Graduate Analyst, you will work part-time (50%) at Vinga Corporate Finance while you are expected to complete your University studies during the spring 2025.  

Vinga Corporate Finance originates, structures, and markets capital markets transactions across the Scandinavian ECM- and DCM spaces. As part of the Vinga Group, we offer a range of investment banking services for corporates and investors With offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Geneva, Vinga provides access to international capital for Nordic SMEs. Vinga Group is expanding rapidly and has emerged as market leader in capital market transactions of SEK 50-500 million.

Vinga Group is now looking to strengthen its Corporate Finance team with ambitious Graduate Analysts to our Gothenburg head office.

Position overview

The Corporate Finance team provides advisory, DCM and ECM services to our corporate clients. For the Graduate Analyst position, we seek dedicated team players who want to be part of a tight team and have excellent communication as well as quantitative skills, a strong work ethic and genuine financial interest.

The Graduate Analyst’s role is to take an active part in the deal process. Specific responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, preparation of marketing materials, pitch presentations, and executing transactions. You will quickly gain significant transaction and capital markets experience as well as exposure to all parts of the capital raising process. As part of a quickly growing organization, you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills and knowledge within several products and sectors while providing critical support to senior colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support the Corporate Finance team on various private and public ECM- and DCM transactions
  • Perform financial analysis and build financial models (including valuation modeling)
  • Prepare pitch presentations and investor presentations
  • Conduct industry-wide research, company screening and analysis of corporate finance related topics and prospective clients

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • 0-3 years of previous work experience. Prior experience from investment banking, capital markets, corporate development or M&A is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent academic results, preferably from the fields of business, finance, economics or related
  • Strong interest and eager to learn about financial markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Thrive in a dynamic and high-paced environment
